Our EEG videomonitoring equipment has been used successfully at the St. Luka's institute of pediatric neurology and epilepsy directed by professor Konstantin Mukhin

St. Luka's institute of pediatric neurology and epilepsy directed by professor Konstantin Mukhin specializes in diagnostics and treatment of children nervous system diseases, different forms of epilepsy in children and adolescents.

We are satisfied to note that three new electroencephalographs-recorders "Encephalan-EEGR-19/26" with a kit for continuous Full HD EEG videomonitoring has been successfully used in Department of video EEG monitoring of St. Luka's institute of pediatric neurology and epilepsy since the end of this year. This event confirms long-standing reputation of our company as a leading and reliable Russian manufacturer of EEG systems for the differential diagnosis of epilepsy.

International exhibition MEDICA 2015

International exhibition MEDICA 2015 famous for its scope and the wide range of exhibited medical products took place in Dusseldorf, Germany from November, 16-19. A huge popularity of the event and its high status are explained by the presence of highly qualified medical specialists. The exhibition covers such areas as diagnostics and laboratory equipment, physiotherapy and orthopedics, electromedicine, medical equipment, surgical equipment and tools, equipment for hospital treatment, information and communications technologies, construction and equipping of hospitals and other related healthcare industries.

At the exhibition our company presented the entire product line, including an updated Neuromyoanalyzer NMA-4-01 "Neuromyan" that meets European standards.

VI International Forum of epileptologists of the CIS/EurAsEC "Epilepsy and Paroxysmal States"

VI International Forum of epileptologists of the CIS/EurAsEC "Epilepsy and Paroxysmal States" took place in Sochi from October 2-3, 2015. The Forum was attended by more than 300 delegates and guests, including leading epileptologists, neurologists, psychiatrists, neurosurgeons, neurophysiologists, etc., from Russia, the CIS/EurAsEC and other countries. The main issues discussed at plenary and breakout sessions, and satellite symposia of the Forum were fundamental sciences in epileptology, differential diagnosis of epilepsy and paroxysmal disorders, neurosurgical treatment of epilepsy, chronic pain, epileptic syndromes in children and adults, treatment optimization and organization of care for patients. Forum made a significant contribution to the development of neurology and strengthening the traditional creative ties, friendship and cooperation between specialists from the CIS and EurAsEC countries.

Representatives of our company took an active part in the Forum.

Diplomas

We are pleased to announce that Yu.A. Gagarin Research & Test Cosmonaut Training Center highly appreciated our application of BFB psychotechnologies in astronaut training and awarded our team and director general of Medicom MTD Yu.A. Gagarin diploma.

It should be noted that the close ties between the Centre and our company have been formed long ago, and we greatly value and sincerely appreciate our relationship. Our equipment in Cosmonaut Training Center proved its reliability and efficiency, which is confirmed by Yu.A. Gagarin diploma obtained in 2011 for the substantial contribution to the development and production of special medical equipment for preparing astronauts for their space missions.

Testing of sailing athletes at the Aquece Rio International Regatta (Olympic Test Event) using domestic portable psychophysiological equipment

Russian sailing team took part in the pre-Olympic regatta from August 15-22, 2015. Representatives of our company carried out medical and psychological testing of our national team using the following Medicom MTD equipment:

• The device for psychophysiological testing UPFT–1/30–"Psychophysiolog";
• Objective psychological analysis and testing system "Egoscop";
• Mobile polysomnographic system (Type II AASM);
• Biofeedback and neurofeedback equipment.

The testing was directed towards an examination of the adaptive processes across time and climate zones, as well as evaluation of the influence of various training modes and psychic self-regulation training procedures using biofeedback (biofeedback training). Furthermore, the functionality and usability of Medicom MTD portable equipment under field conditions were assessed.

The opportunity to test our equipment performance in such extraordinary conditions became a reality thanks to the agreement on cooperation and collaboration of our company with the Federal Scientific Center for Physical Culture and Sports, as well as welcoming attitude of the leadership of the Russian national sailing team and its head coach A. Startsev towards our company.

Quality management system in Medicom MTD

Upon successful completion of the remote audit of the technical file, Medicom MTD obtained new CE certificate on January 5, 2015. Company expanded the range of its equipment with the CE mark by neuromyoanalyzer NMA-4-01 "Neuromyan" for EMG and EP studies.

On January 29, 2015, Polmed.de (Germany), an authorized representative of Medicom MTD within the European Union, included three modifications of neuromyoanalyzer NMA-4-01 "Neuromyan" into the European database www.dimdi.de, which is confirmed by the relevant certificate.

On May 27, 2015 Medicom MTD expanded the range of CE marked equipment by Sleep signals recorder "ApnOx", which is confirmed by the BSI Regulatory letter.

On June 11, 2015, our company obtained a certificate of an authorized representative within the European Union. Data on Sleep signals recorder "ApnOx" were included into the European database www.dimdi.de.

From June 29 to July 2, 2015, our company passed an annual recertification audit of the quality management system. Dmitry Nikolaev, BSI lead auditor confirmed compliance of Medicom MTD technical documents and QMS processes with international standards ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003&13485:2012, and Directive 93/42/EEC. The management and staff of Medicom MTD demonstrated their high qualifications in design, development, manufacture, sales and after-sales service of manufactured medical equipment.

International scientific and practical conference "Innovations in sleep disorders diagnosis and treatment"

From June 10 to 11, Scientific and practical conference "Innovations in sleep disorders diagnosis and treatment" took place in "The Nikiforov Russian Center of Emergency and Radiation Medicine", The Ministry of Russian Federation for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters, St. Petersburg.

The conference was organized by EMERCOM of Russia, The Health Committee of St. Petersburg, The Nikiforov Russian Center of Emergency and Radiation Medicine, and others.

The greatest interest was aroused by reports of O. Tikhomirova "Obstructive sleep apnea as a risk factor for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases" and A. Kalinkin "Central sleep apnea and Cheyne-Stokes respiration".

Representatives of our company acquainted the conference participants with polysomnographic equipment produced by Medicom MTD.

31st National Congress of Clinical Neurophysiology and EEG EMG

Medicom MTD together with its dealer STEP MEDIKAL took part in the 31st National Congress of Clinical Neurophysiology and EEG EMG held on April 8-12, 2015 in Antalya, Turkey, where we presented our equipment:

• Multifunctional transformable electroencephalograph-recorder "Encephalan-EEGR-19/26" for stationary, telemetric and autonomous (Holter-type) application;
• Neuromyoanalyzer NMA-4-01 "Neuromyan";
• Psychophysiological telemetric system "Rehacor-T" with "Rehacor" Software for Functional Biocontrol with Biofeedback Training.

The exhibition was held in a pleasant, friendly atmosphere and contributed to the establishment of new business contacts. Exhibited Medicom MTD equipment has been highly appreciated both by the ordinary participants and professionals.
